Hi Everybody Reading This!
I'm a 19-year-old student from Érd, Hungary. I'm in (rather at the end of) my fourth year at grammar school. Our school is situated in also Érd and it is named after Mihály Vörösmarty. I had to graduate this year, I have made high level exam of Hungarian (Literature and Grammar) and History. I speak English and German, but I would rather use English. I'm interested in aviation, in the history of the 20th century and in internet. I would like to be the fresher of the ELTE Faculty of Law next year. I know my English is a little bit poor, I have hardly used it for two years. please correct my mistake if you have time for them:D
Bye,

Hi!
Friday I have speech-day at school, and I finished my graduation exams. Friday morning I was flying with Gyula Vári, who was a fighter pilot champion three times. We went up with a Zlin-142 2 seater monoplane and it was fantastic... He let me fly the aircraft up there. He was very nice, he praised me even we were descending 2 meters per second during a 360 degree turn... We tried the zero gravity, my camera hovered over my hand, and alittle bit more blood was pumping in my head than usual. It's a marvellous feeling, it must be tried if one can!
Bye,
Tamás |

Hi Tamás!
Wow, that's amazing! How come you know Gyula Vári, is he an acquitance? It could have been great flying with him..
Once I saw him at Siófok flying a Mig upside down while cutting a white blanket with the vertical fin ("vezérsík"? found this in the dictionary but sounds strange a bit), at quite a low altitude.. brave thing..
Sometimes I fly with my father on a motor-glider, but I'm a mere passenger (and telling the truth, I would be a bit scared to learn flying, so I don't really wish to..)
Have a nice time! |

Hi Tamás,
I'm glad you ended up writing your journal. It sounds amazin what you write about you flying an airplane. Do you do it on a regular basis? Is it a hobby of yours?
Also, your English is not poor at all, keep it up. |

Hi QBI!
I'm happy to see you here!
When do you continue your diary? I'd be glad to read your lines, especially about flying! |

Hi!
Unfortunately I don't fly on regular basis although last year I started a gliding course on Góbé sailplane in BME Aeroclub, I finished the theoretical part of it, but I have only 18 take-offs (and landings of course ) of the 56 needed. I have to give it up because this was my last year at grammar school and I had a lot of things to do and to learn. I would gladly restart the course, but I'm afraid of I can't do that, my eyes decayed so much this year...
I knew Mr. Vari from the Parliament, my best often goes there, and he told Mr. Vari about my passionate and Mr. Vari invited me via my friend to Budaors. I wouldn't have imagined that I could fly with him, and it was very kind of him. I also saw him flying the MiG-29 over the Balatonkiliti Airport in 2001, at the opening airshow of the European Aerobatic Championship. At the top of the taucher manoeuvre when the plane started to fall down almost vertically he dispersed flares, which was a beautiful firework - AT DAY. It was fantastic, and the sound of the two powerful RD-33 engines was incredible, unfortunately he couldn't land with his jet on the short grass runway of the airfield.
Rooka, if you have the chance to fly, don't hesitate to do this, it's very amazing to fly an aircraft. I think the hardest thing in it at the beginning is to divide the attention to the instruments, the horizont and the flying. I think the vizszintes vezérsik is the stabilizer, and the függőleges vezérsik is the fin. The fin must be correct, I checked in an illustrated dictionary on flying.
All best,

Hi QBI!
I said I'd like to read your text about flying, this is true, but sorry, I can't comment it. As you probably know, I'm not that person who really knows how this (in my opinion very complicated) thing goes and I haven't got a smattering of this matter.
I hope you'll be happy to receive a mail saying that somebody has written to you in your blog. Maybe you'll be disappointed when you come to the site and see there's nothing special...
It's easier just to read the blog and not to write in it... When I thought to write here I thought it wouldn't be hard, but with my imperfect English it is. I must search for almost every single word (in my head or in the dictionary, mainly and fortunately in my head) and this is a bit difficult.
So, keep up this diary, please I'd like to read it! |

Thank you for your nice words Tsani!
We we were two weeks ago in Morocco, it was very interesting. I went with my father and we spent one week there. The climate was very comfortable, although the sun was shining only from 2 PM. We made 3 trips near Agadir, we visited Marrakech, Taroudant and Tiznit.
In Morocco most people speaks French, although the literacy in only about 53%, but of course the Arabic is the state language. One can get on with English and German too:D I took there about 400 pictures, en route there the plane was flying not so high between Marrakech and Agadir, and the lights were warm, so I could take interesting pictures of the Atlas mountains from the air...
Now I'm wating for the point limit of the universities. |
